Szarek Farms/Szarek Greenhouses is located on South Street in Westmoreland, NY. In early spring we grow greens using a hydroponic method, we also grow bedding plants and hanging baskets, we run a farmstand on the farm during the summer months and sell heirloom vegetables all grown hydroponically. In the fall we sell garden mums and pumpkins and at Christmastime we sell handmade mixed greens Christmas Wreaths. We also run Three Goat Farm-CSA with shares available in January.

We do not use any herbicides or pesticides in our production, we do use a mineral based fertilizer and integrated pest management to control pest infestations, such as ladybugs, stinging wasps and bumble bees for pollination We use less water than a conventional farm, do not till soil and do not use manure based fertilizers which we feel can contribute to the spread of e-coli and salmonella
